An Advice of Music: Oriental Progressive Metal

Hey, I'm Dan and I would like to introduce you with a band called Orphaned Land.
Orphaned Land is an oriental progressive metal band from Israel. At first their music sounds a bit weird, but after a few hearings it will get better for sure.

This band is a special combination of classic metal elements with many kinds of oriental music rhythms. The first song I'd like to recommend you called "Norra el Norra", which is a pure bless taken from the bible:

As you can hear, they sing the whole song in a "Biblical-Hebrew" style, which is seems to be very calm as well. The song contains a very high oriental influence, definitely more than the metal elements included.
The second song is "Ocean Land", which speaks about the land after the big flood in one of the most famous stories of the Genesis book.

This song shows the progressive metal side, combined with oriental style as well.

That's the end of my quick Oriental Progressive Metal review. If you a bit more interested in the band, I suggest you to try the album "Mabool", a great album which perform a famous tale from the bible.

I don't think otherwise, I won't let it fall

Smitten will be there amazed
